southpawlab was founded on the belief that even the craziest of ideas deserve space to breathe. After 15+ years in business development and fundraising, I saw too many ideas stall out from fear, doubt, or lack of support.
We exist to give unconventional thinkers the confidence and clarity to take the next step.
what's in a name?
"Southpaw" comes from the world of left-handed pitchers - a nod to the creative, offbeat, and sometimes unexpected angles lefties bring.
We were founded by a lefty, but encourage the righties (and the lucky ambidextrous-ies) to work with us, too!
why we exist
We all have ideas on repeat. Some are brilliant, others might be a swing and a miss. But the real barrier isn't the idea itselt - it's taking the leap to test it.
